There is a long tail here with a tie back yet another overlapping connection to TPG where anytime I find this I will publish it. 

TPG Growth CEO was arrested, TPG Newbridge is Richard Blum whose name appears with the successors of Southern Pacific once under control of Denver Billionaire Philip Anschutz. 

During Bennett v. Southern Pacific someone killed his witness in 1989 then 2014 five relatives of Bennett were killed.

Matthew E. Monaghan
Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
Monaghan was appointed the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer effective April 1, 2015 and was named Chairman of the Board on May 14, 2015. He was previously the Senior Vice President, Global Hips and Reconstructive Research of Zimmer Holdings, Inc., a global company that designs, develops, manufactures and markets orthopedic reconstructive, spinal and trauma devices, dental implants, and related surgical products. Prior to joining Zimmer in 2009, Monaghan spent eight years as an operating executive for two leading private equity firms, Texas Pacific Group (TPG) and Cerberus Capital Management, where he led acquisitions and operational improvements of portfolio companies, which included the carve-out from Baxter Healthcare of a global medical device business, making significant improvements at a U.S. personal insurance business and running a consumer durable goods business spun off from Newell-Rubber-maid. He spent the first 13 years of his career in aerospace, medical and other industrial businesses of General Electric Company. Monaghan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from INSEAD in France.

Darcie Karol
Senior Vice President Human Resources
Darcie Karol joined the company in June 2018 as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Karol worked at The Valspar Corporation, a global paint and coatings company acquired by Sherwin-Williams in June 2017. Ms. Karol served as Valspar’s Vice President of Human Resources – Global Coatings from January 2014 until August 2017, and prior to that was Valspar’s Human Resources Director for the Asia Region from July 2011 until September 2013. Prior to Valspar, Ms. Karol held various Human Resources positions of increasing responsibility at General Mills, Inc., a global consumer packaged goods company.

Anthony C. LaPlaca
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
LaPlaca is responsible for all legal affairs, risk management and intellectual property. He also serves as the corporate secretary. Before joining Invacare, LaPlaca was vice president and general counsel of Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, and its predecessor businesses at Honeywell International Inc. from 1997 through 2008. Prior to that time, he was a partner at a Cleveland-based national law firm. He holds a B.S. in economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.

Ralf Ledda
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Europe
Ledda is responsible for the performance of the Company’s Europe segment. Prior to his promotion to this role in 2016, Ledda had over 20 years of proven leadership experience at Alber GmbH, Invacare’s German-based subsidiary that specializes in innovative electromotive technology and power add-on devices used with medical and recreational products. At Alber, Ledda successfully created an enterprise-wide culture of quality, innovation and customer service excellence. Prior to joining Alber, he worked at Siemens AG. Ledda has a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Munich.

Kathleen P. Leneghan
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Leneghan was appointed Chief Financial Officer on February 22, 2018, after having served as interim CFO since November 27, 2017. Prior to that, Leneghan served as vice president and corporate controller since 2003. She has been with Invacare for 27 years, serving in various financial roles in North America and Europe. Prior to joining Invacare, Leneghan was an audit manager with Ernst & Young LLP. She holds a B.A. in accounting from Notre Dame College of Ohio.
