Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company, PEDEVCO is focused on the Redevelopment of Conventional Resources primarily in the Permian Basin

Oil and Gas Exploration and Production Company, PEDEVCO is focused on the Redevelopment of Conventional Resources primarily in the Permian Basin

Although Mr. Schick presentation is rational he fails to mention why the former president of Pacific Energy Development was fired over letters from Pete Bennett.  One asset under PEDEVCO is the Peterson Family Trust which connects to former Danville Deputy Stephen Tanabe and local businessman Ray Nazemi where they are both connected to former Judge Golub and his brother Howard V. Golub former PG&E Senior Counsel and District Attorney Mark Peterson.

There numerous Federal Indictments connected to this cast of characters.

J. Douglas Schick, Speaking with CEOCFO Magazine Explains their Focus on Conventional Oil and Gas Opportunities
HOUSTON, TX / ACCESSWIRE / October 23, 2019 / CEOCFO Magazine, an independent investment, business and resources news publication highlights the rebranding of PEDEVCO Corp. (NYSE American:PED) in an interview (https://www.ceocfointerviews.com/interviews/PEDEVCO19.htm) with J. Douglas Schick, President of PEDEVCO. The company, which formally did business as Pacific Energy Development, was originally headquartered in California with its primary asset in Colorado. However, in June of 2018, a new majority investor and new management team bought control of the company and moved the headquarters to Houston, Texas. Mr. Schick goes on to say, "At this point we changed our focus to acquiring assets in the Permian Basin rather than in Colorado, so the name Pacific Energy Development did not necessarily fit with our strategy, location or what we were doing."
Discussing their current assets, Mr. Schick states, "We have over 150 drilling locations in two of our Permian fields and potentially another 50 or more in another Permian field, plus another 100 or more drilling locations in Colorado. We have a very large inventory of high rate of return projects, zero debt and strong capital backing."
As to why PEDEVCO is bucking the current trend for oil and gas companies to gravitate towards shale, Mr. Schick commented, "We believe it is easier to build a profitable business long term in conventional oil and gas opportunities rather than unconventional shales."
Having recently raised $25 million through a private offering, Mr. Schick tells us "Those funds will be used for three different purposes. The first is to finish our 2019 development program where we are currently in the process of completing five wells that we drilled earlier in the year. The second use of funds is for our 2020 development program. The third use will be for opportunistic acquisition of producing assets and business combinations."
Sharing his thoughts on why PEDEVCO has been successful in raising capital, Mr. Schick tells us, "PEDEVCO is a little bit of an anomaly because we have been able to raise money over the past few years and get a few deals done. We not only have a highly experienced business development team, but we also have the financial support of one very good investor, SK Energy, that has been willing to do multiple equity investments in us to fund our acquisition, development and expansion plans."
With a business plan that includes using unconventional technology for conventional development, Mr. Schick points out, "The whole unconventional oil and gas sector is based on horizontal drilling technology and new frack completion technologies. All we are doing is taking those technologies from the unconventional space and using them in the conventional space to access oil and gas reserves from old existing fields that were not recovered using previous technology."
In conclusion, Mr. Schick tells CEOCFO, "If you want to invest in the sector, you want to look for a company with a sustainable business model, quality assets that are going to be able to generate good cash flow long into the future, strong capital support, and no debt. PEDEVCO is that company."

A burglary crew stole $1.65+ million from Contra Costa’s most affluent community. And so far, they’ve gotten away with it

A burglary crew stole $1.65+ million from Contra Costa’s most affluent community. And so far, they’ve gotten away with it

Fur coats, jewelry, cash, stolen

PUBLISHED:  | UPDATED:

DANVILLE — The first burglary happened on Nov. 3, 2016, when a group of bandits snuck into a house in the 4200 block of Silver Meadow Court, in Blackhawk, and made off with $180,000 in jewelry.
The last one happened 12 months later, when they entered a home at nearby Cypress Court around 1 p.m., and took an unknown amount of jewels.
There were 16 burglaries in total. Sometimes the perpetrators stashed the stolen goods or safes in the home’s garbage bin, and rolled it to a getaway car. Other times they acquired a golf cart and drove it through a country club that bordered by the burglarized home, to blend in with their surroundings.
Every time, they got away with it, and they still haven’t been caught.

The burglary spree, which has not been previously reported on, targeted homes in the section of Contra Costa County with the highest property values: Blackhawk and Danville, where the median home price is well above $1 million and nearly everyone has at least a burglar alarm, if not home security cameras.
Police are still investigating the case; detectives have reviewed security footage, interviewed numerous witnesses and even tried to pinpoint the burglars through GPS. So far, no one has been charged, police said.
The same three people were seen on video in at least five of the burglaries, and police suspect all 16 are related. They typically entered the house through a back sliding glass door, often using a rug or outdoor furniture cushion to muffle the sound of breaking glass. The burglars would then head for the bedrooms, targeting jewelry boxes, safes and clothing drawers for stashes of cash and other valuables, police said.
Most of the burglaries occurred on properties next to the Blackhawk Country Club. The lowest take was $10,000 from one home. The highest single caper amounted to a $500,000 loss, according to court records.
In one June 2017 burglary in the 5400 block of Blackhawk Drive, $215,000 in purses and fur coats were stolen. In another burglary two months later, in the 4500 block of Kingswood Drive, the thieves made off with $500,000 in jewelry, bonds and gold bars stolen from an unlocked safe.
In November 2017, the burglars hit five homes, grabbing with a whopping $265,000 in cash from one residence, $22,000 in jewelry from another and $13,000, as well as a handgun, from a third. In two others, packages were taken, along with an unspecified amount of jewelry.
The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office says anyone with tips on the burglary spree can call the agency’s investigation division at 925-313-2621, email tips@so.cccounty.us or call 866-846-3592 to leave an anonymous voice message.

Cameras in the courtroom are within the discretion of the court. Judge Brady requires that counsel comply with notice requirements so that the propriety of cameras can be analyzed by the court beforehand.

Judge Brady recommends that attorneys be thoroughly prepared and familiar with their cases so they can anticipate issues that may suddenly arise. She also recommends that attorneys get as much training as they can, such as observing experienced attorneys to learn their techniques.

The Susan Polk Files and Analysis - Another odd case

The Susan Polk Files and Analysis

This case like many others stands like many tin foil hat cases. Having experienced the tactics of several District Attorneys Pete Bennett will offer insight across a spectrum of cases.  Driven to homelessness, his assets stolen often stolen by police officers and threatened far too many times he fought back.

His encounters extend back to the City of Pittsburg when after a dozen break-in and entry at his cabinet shop once located on Bliss Ave.  During litigation with Southern Pacific his witness turned up dead but never disclosed to counsel.

It became so obvious that when officers arrived Bennett would "You again, and how did divide up my tools this time?"

My story is about witness murders, private equity, mergers and acquisitions linked back to the Matter of Bennett v. Southern Pacific lost in 1989.  It was a winnable case as long the witnesses testified.
