(OTC Bulletin Board: PSSR - News) announced today that it had provided the exact data points for the flight track of US Airways Flight 1549 to the investigators researching the incident, from its departure at LaGuardia Airport to its descent into the Hudson River. The data, with PASSUR's 4.6 second update rate, was available within seconds of the event, and provided to investigators and US Airways within minutes. PASSUR provided the information immediately to the National Transportation Safety Board, FAA, US Airways, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
The PASSUR radar systems located at Newark Liberty International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport identified the flight at 400 feet from lift-off from LaGuardia Runway 4 on January 15th and tracked it down to 400 feet above the Hudson River. There are a total of 49 PASSUR radar hits which feed the US Airways Flight 1549 simulation with detailed data.
