The Locust Street Murders

Pete Bennett arrived in Walnut Creek in mid-1978 after six months in San Francisco.  His reasons for leaving Cape Coral Florida were numerous, low wages, limited job opportunities and of course that timeless song by the Beach Boys about California.

One of his first incidents in San Francisco was a stabbing in the Tenderloin.  Pete was so knew he was clueless but he did the life of the victim while receiving a condemnation from the Mayor.  Those documents like others lost to time, incidents, setbacks, fire or fraud.
